Murder Mystery Speakeasy: A Roaring ’20s Whodunit!

Step back into the elegance and intrigue of the Roaring ’20s. Guests will be transported to a glamorous speakeasy filled with music, laughter, and secrets lurking in every corner. Each attendee will step into a carefully crafted character role, complete with backstory, motives, and connections to others in the room.
The evening will unfold in four acts:
Act I: Arrival & Acquaintance
Guests arrive in character, mingling and discovering their allies, rivals, and hidden agendas.
Act II: Dinner & Discovery
Over a decadent meal, whispers of betrayal and scandal begin to circulate as new information comes to light.
Act III: The Murder
Tensions erupt when one of the guests suddenly collapses. The room is now filled with suspects.
Act IV: The Reveal
Alliances are tested, secrets are revealed, and the culprit is unmasked in a thrilling finale.
This immersive experience ensures every guest plays a role in the unfolding drama, whether as a main suspect, a witness with crucial information, or a character with secrets to protect. Throughout the evening, participants will laugh, scheme, and collaborate as they attempt to solve the mystery before the final curtain falls.
The night also features basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and drink specials to keep the speakeasy spirit alive.
It’s the perfect blend of entertainment, suspense, and fun—all while supporting a great cause.
The event is organized by the nonprofit Happy 2 be Home, whose mission is to enable families to provide a suitable home environment for children with chronic, long-term, multiple disabilities to enhance their quality of life.
Before The Night
Elegant attire inspired by the 1920s is encouraged to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the night. With live interaction, character-driven storytelling, and unforgettable shared moments, the Murder Mystery Speakeasy promises to be an extraordinary evening of engagement and intrigue.
Every guest will be assigned a unique character role with a backstory, secrets, and connections to others. Some roles are major parts of the mystery, while others are smaller but still important—so there’s something for everyone. Character profiles are emailed in advance.
If you’re registering for a guest, please use their email address if possible so their role stays a surprise to you. That way, each person can prepare and step into the fun at their own comfort level.
