About this event
Join us for the official public unveiling of the new ‘Union Quarters‘ space at Rivet. The lower level of our building is very unique and you need to experience it to believe it. It’s the newest addition to the growing revitalization of High Street in Pottstown and a totally different vibe than the main floor of Rivet.
The bar will be open in our casual intimate Union Quarters setting and this event will center around amazing acoustic performances from performers known for their heavier side of their talents.
About The Performers
Dakota McGeehan (of Another Day Dawns)
Dakota McGeehan is the lead singer of the band Another Day Dawns. The band have just finished recording their debut album for Century Media Records / Sony! The release date is coming in 2023 as singles and videos will be released ramping up to the album dropping. Before heading out for dates with Sevendust, Dakota has been busy performing solo acoustic dates. A departure from his loud heavy rock band. Another Day Dawns have shared the stage with icons like Metallica, Rob Zombie, Motionless in White and others. They’ve had the honor to play festivals such as “Louder than Life, Blue Ridge, Aftershock” and more. But, this performance at Rivet is a special up close and personal event for Dakota, literally the quiet(er) side before his 2023 storm of fury and heaviness. Do not miss it!
DIE TIRED (unplugged)
Originally derived from the old Marines adage: “You can run, but you’ll just die tired,” one might assume that their music has ominous undertones and potentially dark themes. Well, to Die Tired it is a punk rock way of saying, “Carpe diem!”
Being from various parts of the hills and streets of Pennsylvania, the members of Die Tired all bring their own specific flare and personality to the music. Each member has a slightly different taste in music, but in one way or another, these influences blend perfectly to breathe new life into some amazingly addictive alternative and pop rock sounds.
Die Tired is a multifaceted band, pulling inspiration from classic rock, heavy metal, pop punk, and just about anything else that they can play on a guitar. These songs translate with a whole different dynamic when performed acoustically! This will be a special performance you will not want to miss. Set time: 7:30 PM.
