More About the Comedians:

Aaron Berg

Aaron is half of the daily morning show “In Hot Water” which can only be viewed on Compound Media. Originally from Toronto, after graduating with an honors degree in Philosophy, Aaron began his career as a stand-up comedian at the famous Canadian comedy institution, Yuk Yuk’s. Nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards and winner of the 2007 College Comedian of the year award, it was then time to go international. He has headlined the U.K., the United States, and Israel as part of a forthcoming CBC Documentary “A Universal Language” which follows six comedians on their first tour of Israel.

Aaron Berg made his Comedy Central debut on “This is Not Happening” in 2016 and has made two appearances on AXS TV’s “Live at Gotham”, as well as an appearance on Big Jay Oakerson’s “WYFD?!?”. He has also appeared in Comedy Central’s “Roast Battle” Season 2. In 2019 his world record breaking documentary “25 Sets” was released and appeared in DC comics feature film “The Kitchen”. Aaron’s one-man Off-Broadway shows in NYC, The Underbelly Diaries and Jeremy Levy’s play ’21 Days’ were met with critical acclaim.

He is also an author and has two books out currently. “Mr. Manners” and “American Etiquette”. His three albums are available on iTunes and Amazon “Comedy Coltrane”, “Mr. Manners Live From Long Island City” and “Unscripted”.

Aaron is the host of “Frantic Mondays” at the STAND NYC, he can be seen every night doing stand-up in NYC when he is not on the road.

Don Jamieson

Don spent 14 seasons co-hosting VH1 Classic’s hit heavy metal talk show series, “That Metal Show.” The program was a round-table talk show where legends of rock hang out and discuss their past and current projects. Rolling Stone Magazine dubbed “That Metal Show” one of the 50 Best Reasons To Watch TV! His current weekly show on the Compound Media Network is called “That Jamieson Show” and picks up where his former show left off adding his own twists and making it his own.

Among his many accomplishments, comedian Don Jamieson’s proudest moment is becoming an Emmy Award-Winner; for his work on HBOs “Inside The NFL”. Don and long-time comedy partner, Jim Florentine, lent their brand of humor to the popular sports show; writing, producing and performing sports-themed comedy sketches. The two have also collaborated on the hidden-camera DVD and ComedyCentral.com series, “Meet The Creeps” as well as a series of prank call CDs, “Terrorizing Telemarketers” which get a lot of airplay on the Howard Stern Radio Show. Speaking of which, Don has been a featured “Roaster” on Howard’s “Staff Roasts” (he is also a roast joke writer for the country’s best celebrity roaster, Lisa Lampanelli). He spent many years gaining great exposure and building his fan base as Andrew ‘Dice’ Clay’s opening act on the road.

Don is signed to Metal Blade Records, a powerhouse legendary Metal record label that released four comedy stand-up CD’s Live & Hilarious, Hell Bent for Laughter, and Communication Breakdown (all hit the Top 20 on iTunes and Top 10 on the Billboard comedy charts). His most recent release Denim and Laughter was released in 2020. Don also has lent his voice to cult favorite MTV2’s “Crank Yankers.”

Geno Bisconte

Geno is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for “Crashing” and “Gotham Comedy Live”. He has written for the “Comedy Central Roasts” of Rob Lowe and Charlie Sheen. He can be seen every week on CompoundMedia.com’s “In Hot Water” with co-host Aaron Berg.

Born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey, Geno has called New York his home since 2001.

“Bisconte’s slash and burn style of back stabbing insults show he is a true comic guilds-man. His style is reminiscent of a bowling machine setting up his audience, one person at a time, for the inevitable knockdown. Bisconte’s soapbox delivery includes the robotic dog craze, beautiful breasts, lobster bibs and the beauty of laughing at the forbidden. Bisconte questions the life and death ethics of tipping (yes to Starbucks employees but not to airline pilots) and why family dysfunction is just, sometimes, so darn funny.”

Anthony Cumia

Anthony (formerly of ‘Opie and Anthony’) is comedic radio trailblazer that now hosts the flagship show on his Compound Media Network, discussing takes on today’s hot topics, news, and entertainment segments all alongside some of your favorite guests. After his departure SiriusXM, Cumia gave his blessing for his radio co-hosts, Gregg ‘Opie’ Hughes and comedian Jim Norton, to continue broadcasting without him. Hughes and Norton began their new show, “Opie with Jim Norton”

The Anthony Cumia Network launched to coincide with the start of The Anthony Cumia Show on the network, on August 4, 2014. During the opening months some shows aired from Cumia’s basement studio, by his home bar, or in his garden, which he said “had an old Hugh Hefner feel to it by the pool”, by using wired connections. Four months after its launch, Cumia expressed some difficulty in securing guests other than his friends and comedians as the network was based at his home, and had started plans of obtaining studio space to broadcast in New York City, which he did, and now the shows are broadcast from the NYC studio.

In the past year, with the pandemic and comedy clubs closed and people searching for a new way to get their comedy fix. The viewership of The Compound Media Network has been growing at a rapid pace, taking the comedians to perform live, was a logical next step.

Pat Dixon

Dixon is best known as creator and host of The NYC Crime Report with Pat Dixon, a long-running podcast devoted to reporting current crime news from the New York City tabloids with irreverence and dark humor.

The show also features interviews with comedians and news personalities including Jackie Martling, Christian Finnegan, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bonnie McFarlane, Jim Florentine, Jerry Stahl, Mandy Stadtmiller, Ari Shaffir and Kendra Sunderland. Dixon is also the creator of the “Nearly Naked Lady Hour” and the subsequent “Miss Nearly Naked Lady.”

In October 2015, it was announced Dixon was the latest addition to the Compound Media Network of podcasts and comedians.

Dixon was a cast member on the reboot of VH1’s “Best Week Ever,” and had his own half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” special. He’s also been seen on “The Late Late Show,” “BBC America’s The World Stands Up,” “Gotham Comedy Live,” “Very Funny Live” on TBS, TV Land’s “Best Night In.”

He has released three stand-up comedy albums: “White Devil,” “Goodbye Forever, Fatty” and “King of Clubs.”

In 2015, he appeared as an actor in the short film “Muck,” which premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival and was also an official selection in the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Montclair Film Festival, the Berkshire International Film Festival and the Capital City Film Festival.
